Q. Do residents have a choice of meal times
and entrees?
A. We have an early or late seating for each
meal. Residents let us know when they move in which seating times they prefer. Yes, there
are choices of entrees for lunch and dinner.
Q. How much personal care can Palo Alto
Commons provide?
A. Each resident is assessed upon move-in,
and a tailored, individualized care-plan is
developed in consultation with our key
staff, the resident, and the resident’s
family. We offer six levels of assistance
including help with showers, grooming,
medication, escorts, and incontinence care.
Q. What kinds of activities are provided?
A. A full complement of programs enriches
the living experience at the Commons.
Concerts, lectures, movies, arts and crafts,
and Foothill Community College classes are
all offered right on our premises.
Q. Does Palo Alto Commons provide
transportation?
A. We offer transportation to a variety of
locations in the local community, including
doctor’s offices, senior centers, and local
drug stores. Regular scenic tours are also
provided in our comfortable van.
Q. What are the surroundings like at Palo
Alto Commons?
A. We have a fully landscaped. secure
perimeter lined with walking paths,
beautiful trees, and gorgeous flowers. We
are in a residential neighborhood perfect
for strolls with parks, restaurants and
shopping nearby.
Q. Does Palo Alto Commons provide
housekeeping and laundry?
A. Bed are made and trash cans are emptied
on a daily basis, and apartments are
cleaned, vacuumed, dusted and the flat
linens changed on a weekly basis. For an
extra charge, personal laundry service is
available. We also provide accessible washer
and dryers on each floor for residents’
convenience.
Q. Can residents have guests for lunch or
dinner?
A. Guests are welcome for lunch and dinner.
